Date/Time: January 17th, 10:00 am   

Topic/Skill: Grammar (tense manipulation)

Teacher Presentation:  Mr. Flemming gave a presentation modeled off of material covered in the previous class to prepare the students for today's activity.

Classroom Management: Mr. Flemming set an alert as to not run out of time for the other students to take turns presenting their work.

Materials: Microsoft Word, sheets of unlined paper, a deck of playing cards, whiteboard

Student Participation: Everyone presented their own list of people and qualities of those people for others to attempt to pair correctly.

Feedback Provided: Mr. Flemming provided active feedback both during creation of the activity material and during its presentation, asking students to correct their grammar in the moment and addressing any confusion over the use of different tenses.

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: Even with something as potentially dry as grammar an EFL teacher can come up with participation activities that not only involve multiple parts of language reception and production but are also fun and even involve a bit of friendly competition.
