Topic/Skill: Reading (reviewing and summarizing an article along with some vocab)

Teacher Presentation:  Dr. Rios started class with the article that had been assigned as homework on the board, and asked the class questions about the specifics of the article, stressing that they answer in their own words when possible.

Classroom Management: Dr. Rios bounced around the room, giving each student equal time to answer questions, and kept attention engaged by moving from one board to another.

Materials: Word, whiteboard

Student Participation: Students answered questions and took notes to assist in the creation of their own article summary.

Feedback Provided: Dr. Rios gave live feedback during the discussion, making sure students spoke with proper grammar and assisting them in the use of new vocab words.

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: A good EFL teacher is one who is very cool and comfortable in both in the classroom and with their students, making the atmosphere approachable and enjoyable, while still holding them accountable to their challenges.
