Topic/Skill: Lower-Intermediate Level Speaking

Teacher Presentation: Dr. Ciappetta modeled a document for the students to complete in lieu of an interview assignment where they would ask each other premade questions. 

Classroom Management: Students worked at the center table with their individual devices and occasionally asked each other or the professor for help. 

Materials: Word, Google Docs, computers

Student Participation: The students worked on their assignment largely individually, sometimes asking questions.

Feedback Provided: Dr. Ciappetta provided live and independent feedback on students' proposed questions through Google Docs.

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: A speaking lesson can be surprisingly quiet at a lower level, but that's totally fine if it sets up a fruitful speaking activity later on.
