Location: CIES Building

Topic/skill: We focused on reading comprehension. We read passages that were longer like short stories. I had her retell the 5 W’s to test if she remembered them from last week. She read passages and underlined details that related to the 5 W’s to try and get her thinking about them when she was reading.

Feedback: Sometimes needed to slow down or go back because a word was added or missed. I found that the passage was not something super interesting for her and by the end, we returned to the Encyclopedia which was more interesting for her to read.
