Roy TS #8
Tutoring Session #8
Date/Time: Wednesday, February 7th 3-4:30pm
Location: Student Union
Topic/Skill: Comparatives
& Minimal Pairs, Also Vocab
Feedback provided to
tutee: We practiced using more + adjective and comparative form by using a
random adjective generator. We also discussed minimal pairs and how to use them
to practice the formation of the r and l sounds.
Lesson(s) about tutoring
and/or the tutee you learned: Minimal pairs are very useful. Ssal can also mean
fat as well as skin. Tongue twisters may be fun for speaking practice or long
sentences so that Geena can practice maintaining the r and l sounds throughout
speaking.
